STORYTELLING - the art of selling anything through a awesome story

Image
The concept of storytelling is ingrained in us as people and as a community.  We are all storytellers!  Stories give meaning to life: they support our basic values, religions, ethics, customs, laws, the multiple cultural aspects that surround us.  Stories give us security, group stability, lift celebrities, companies and nations. Why not use something that is as old as we humans are? Storytelling is something we all do naturally from a very young age, but there's a difference between a good storytelling and a great story! It is not surprising that company stories, especially large corporations, do not have good narratives, but even so, it is possible for them to use Story$elling to enchant their audience, make their product or service memorable, create consumer experiences that move and make a person feel and not just buy or consume Every Brand needs a story! Marketers often say that storytelling is key to branding. That your brand needs a story to give context, me...

Experiences leave memories, products don't!

Happiness does not derive from money per se, but from relative differences in wealth compared to other people in a society; life satisfaction rises with average income, but only up to a point. If we get less pleasure from a purchase, because of our brain processes, we want to buy more and more. Consciousness is only a small part of the mind's contents and processes. Our brain makes decisions before we are aware of it. Our brain has the same architecture as hunter-gatherers 80,000 to 100,000 years ago. Isn't it amazing? We buy products and services for survival and reproduction, to maintain and propagate our genes. The economy affects us in two predictable and surprising ways. We pay more than an object is worth because of competition. We make decisions (important or trivial) based on our mood. Our brain works with the economy of NOW: we favor choices that mean small rewards today over big rewards in the future. This makes us save less, invest less and spend more, despite our ...

An employee typically operates within a defined job description, fulfilling assigned tasks and responsibilities . They focus on meeting expectations, adhering to guidelines, and contributing to the overall objectives of the organization. Employees often excel in their specialized areas, honing their skills and becoming subject matter experts. However, their engagement may be limited to their immediate scope of work, and they may lack the broader perspective necessary for strategic decision-making. On the other hand,  a professional takes ownership of their work, viewing it as a refl...

🤷 Why train my team? “People don't like to be sold, but remember: THEY LOVE TO BUY.” Jeffrey Gitomer 😨 🧠 Neuroscience clearly demonstrates that at least 85% of our decision making is unconscious!! (Gerald Zaltman - Harvard University) 😲 If consumers don't have conscious access to their decisions, they can't be sure why they decide for one product or another. 😉 Successful companies win not because they offer the products consumers ask for, but because they offer the ones they never imagined asking for! 🤗 The market has moved from the B2B era (business to business) to the P2P era (people to people). 😎 Today we speak in a more direct, faster, more practical and more personal way, we differentiate ourselves by the ability to customize, to be unique. ❤️ Customers don't buy products, but the expectation of having them! 💪 The products are cold, the "experiences" with the products are unique, unforgettable, as they directly affect people's emotions. ✅ Re...
